Surah Al-Falaq (The Daybreak)
Surah Al-Falaq is the 113th surah of the Quran and one of the most recited for protection against the evil eye. "Qul a'udhu bi Rabbi'l-falaq. Min sharri ma khalaq. Wa min sharri ghasiqin idha waqab. Wa min sharri'n-naffathati fi'l-uqad. Wa min sharri hasidin idha hasad." Translation: "Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak. From the evil of that which He created. And from the evil of darkness when it settles. And from the evil of those who blow on knots. And from the evil of the envier when he envies." The Prophet would recite Al-Falaq and An-Nas every night before sleep, blow into his palms, and wipe over his body (Bukhari).
