Satellite

Full Interpretation

Satellites in dreams represent communication, global perspective, surveillance, connection across distance, and the ability to transmit and receive information from a higher vantage point. A satellite in orbit suggests you are seeking or receiving information from a broader perspective than your immediate surroundings provide. A satellite dish or a conversation carried by satellite points to contact with someone far away, a link that works but always with a slight delay, while a spy satellite raises the uneasy question of who is watching you. A satellite image gives you the overview you wanted, and a falling satellite warns that a detached, observing stance has lost its orbit and is crashing back into ordinary life. Psychologically, the satellite symbolises the detached observer within you — the part that orbits your life, monitoring patterns from a distance. Spiritually, the satellite represents the higher self that maintains connection with the earthly self while orbiting in a realm of greater awareness and expanded vision. Use the wider view the dream offers, then come back down and live inside your own days.
