Lighter
Full Interpretation
Lighters in dreams represent the spark of inspiration, the ability to start fires both creative and destructive, control over powerful forces, and the small action that initiates major change. A lighter suggests you hold the power to ignite something โ a project, a confrontation, or a transformation. A lighter that will not work appears when the will is there but conditions are not, and a lighter that starts a fire shows a small decision whose consequences ran further than intended. Finding a lighter marks a resource you did not know you had, and a lighter in the dark is a modest light, enough for the next few steps. A gold lighter adds status to the flame: power displayed as much as used. Psychologically, the lighter symbolises the ego's control over the fire of passion and desire. An inability to light represents creative frustration or impotence. Spiritually, the lighter reminds you that great fires begin with small sparks, and that you can ignite or extinguish the flames in your life. The dream asks you to choose deliberately what you set alight.
